Niels Marquardt

Born in March 69 i grew up in an wonderful family with a sister, a brother and my parents. After finished school i worked as a wholesaler at the automobile brand Daimler Benz. As i turn 19 i had to go to the army. After that i was at university and study marketing and finances. Than i found my own company Fun & Joy and work there in many different ways. I started in my teen years with producing video movies about skiing, festivals, towns, marriages and so on. I also started with a career in finance consults, after some years i started also my own computer shop in a little city, i sell computers and cell phones there and at the weekends i have a computer school for kids. The same time i study webdesign and made some very big websites for towns and others. That is important because this is the way i found back to music.

Music, yes - my dad runs a very good band in the sixtys and seventys - he still make music today. But the thing is, we all - my brother, my sister and myself had to learn instruments in music school as we were kids. A lot of years i played clarinet, saxophon, keyboard and guitar - i am sorry that i can´t transfer this knowledge to today but what i still have is my good music ears and the love for music. Without music the life will never be the same.

In 2002 the first idol season go public in germany, i was very interested in this show and the talents, i was coming back to music after all this years. This was the startpoint - i get back to the music industry - involved in the following idol shows with many websites and getting more and more business contacts in the following years.

After that i found in 2005 the Fun & Joy Music, a music company with own publishing company, with own label and management for artists, singers and bands.

Playing my whole life tennis an train a lot of kids in 28 years, i think it will be a good idea to promote kids and teens in music industry also. So i search talents and helpt them getting better and better, search gigs and songs for them. That´s what i do now and it´s the best job in the world :) - i love to discover new talents all over the world.

In 2009 i planned to merge my camera and music skills and start the biggest project of my life until yet. My first teenie musical cinema movie. It was the hardest work i ever did. This background picture here is a still out of the movie - thank to Matthias Staudinger for the pi
