I was a part of a very popular underground radio station from 1997 based in Ponsonby Auckland New Zealand called George FM, George FM is a radio station that has a cutting edge difference, live DJ sets/shows 24/7 .In 1997 & 2001 FRESHFUNK & NIFTYBEATS were created ON-AIR and then became a house hold name’s in the Auckland Dance Scene. George FM & Spy Bar were the birth grounds to the Nifty-Sound “I would say my musical roots come from a Jazz/Funk/Sexy/Deep/Organic tech House sound”

I first secured my radio show with George FM back in 1997- called FRESHFUNK, sponsored by Spy Bar. In 2001 I was given the opportunity to host & team up under the DJ Allis called FRESHFUNK with one legend ladies of house music/D.N.B Miss Emma Green on a Saturday night show from 7-9pm, called NIFTYBEATS (also sponsored by Spy Bar) which rocked throughout Auckland & New Zealand + the worldwide internet community . I got that 1 lucky phone call back in 2003 for a position @ the Gold Coast's latest Luxury V.I.P club called Oriental Whiskey. Oriental Whiskey was the new VIP club in town that was trying to offer an exclusive feel and mood of music to the GC scene. I brought a deep/funky/house sound to the club which worked great alongside the food service provided...”Sexy Organic house beats mixed in food and dance”

At the time I arrived, the Gold Coast dance scene had a very limited Deep/House music following. This was due to the music/club scene at the time. The Deep/House sound i bought from N.Z. touched many souls and grooved many deep holes on the dance floor it also created a niche following which I greatly respected, the deep house scene is all but obsolete on the Gold Coast, and needs to be brought back somehow!!.
Shooters/My Bar was to become my second home as resident DJ....Down below in MY/BAR alongside some of the Gold Coasts best DJ’s e.g. Ben Cooper, James Canning, Dirty Laundry ,Tijuana cartel and under management from the one best in the business Action Doll a.k.a Tiffany Judge.
