Nighat Dad is the Executive Director of the Digital Rights Foundation and a member of the Facebook oversight board. She's working on digital rights discourse in Pakistan along with cyber harassment, harassment, data protection, and free speech online. She identifies as a feminist and works to empower women through the use of ICTs.

Nighat is the recipient of the prestigious Human Rights Tulip Award. She is also a TED Fellow and a TIME's Next Generation Leader.
