Nike Jonah

Public Speaker, Consultant, and Project Manager in London

Hey there, I’m Nike. I am a highly experienced Creative Producer, with a core commitment to equality and diversity, emerging from my collected life experience of living and working nationally and internationally and evidenced in my work to date.

In July 2018, I launched Pan African Creative Exchange (PACE) in partnership with the Free State Arts Festival in Bloemfontein, South Africa in July 2018. PACE is an initiative for African-based artists and arts organizations who wish to undertake international touring, increase their profile, and develop national and international partnership opportunities. The second edition PACE Entangled took place online in August 2020. The third showcase will take place in October 2022.

Between 2008 and 2012, I led the highly acclaimed Arts Council England’s Decibel Programme, which was designed to support and increase the profile of African, Asian, and Caribbean artists in England. Through this, I delivered an ambitious program of events and activities that included the showcasing of artists and companies, strategic bursaries aimed to affect positive, sustainable change for diverse artists in the UK.

My recent work includes Visiting Research Fellow at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (2017-2021) and From 2018 -2021, I led for Popchange (Counterpoints Arts), a Pop Culture and Social Change initiative that sought to advance the public understanding and appreciation of migration in the UK using the Pop Culture space.
