I enjoy informing people about technology. Everyone should have the opportunity to gain better insights or improve performance through the use of technology, and if the lack of expertise is the factor holding someone back – I like to be the enabler.
In my current role with The Coffee Club New Zealand, I oversee support for the new Point of Sale systems installed in our stores. This includes providing training and technical support for the POS itself as well as web-based reporting features. I am also responsible for menu design and continually improving the system for the best end user experience. I am currently looking after 28 stores who have this system. By the end of 2015 several more stores will have made the switch as we continue to progress in our efforts to capture sales information across the entire group.
