His experience in setting-up Foreign Trade related infrastructure like Dry ports - Inland Container Depot (ICD), Container Freight Station (CFS), domestic Food Park gave him a strong footing in accelerating business development of India’s first Free Trade Warehousing Zone (FTWZ). He nurtures business ideas with visionary zeal for garnering market share to achieve sustainable growth proactively, beyond benchmarks.
• His grasp of Export-Import business and international trade regulations pertaining to cross-border multi-modal transportation and logistics infrastructure is unmatched. His hands-on involvement from ideation to implementation has helped making PUNE-MUMBAI region in Maharashtra-India self-sufficient in trade infrastructure. He has a key role in promoting hinterland clearances, providing connectivity with ports / airports for containers and cargo. Major ports / airports including JNP Nhava-Sheva / Mumbai thus benefit from decongestion while hinterland trade and industry gain from glocal solutions, closer to their consumption and manufacturing locations. All stake holders of foreign trade including EXIM clients, customs brokerages, shipping lines and airlines have immensely benefited.
• He has a pivotal role in facilitating global sourcing / foreign trade of well known MNCs & Indian corporate fraternity in hinterland India including Cummins, Coca Cola, Honeywell, JCB, Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, GE, L’Oreal, POSCO, LG, Renault-Nissan, Jabil Circuits, Unilever, Lipton, Kimberly Clark, Bajaj Auto, L&T, TRENT-Westside, Tatas, Mahindras….
Designing and successfully implementing cost-process efficient value-adds is his forte. He has immensely contributed in increasing foreign trade of Small and Medium Enterprises by initiating movement of Less-than-Container-Load (LCL) and air shipments between hinterland and ports / airports.
• He is widely acclaimed in auto and engineering industry for implementing global standard solutions in India. He provided strategic solutions to global entities and their Indian counterparts like Renault Nissan and JCB.
