I am a transportation planner by trade, with the experience of working at the interface of academic research and professional practice. Currently pursuing my doctoral degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation) at the University of South Florida, my primary research interests are on driverless transport (also known by its other names Autonomous/ Automated vehicles or self driving cars) and their impact on urban mobility.

My other areas of research interest are on urban mobility - with special emphasis on transport related social exclusion and on airlines - with special reference to the mergers and acquisitions. Turning into a full time academic is something that impresses me in the long run and also live my dream in limited capacities as a volunteer working on educational empowerment.

Academically apart, my interests include Travel, Reading (online content majorly, though I still am a disturbed yet voracious non fictional bookworm), Writing, Sports (Test match cricket, Manchester United, English Premier League and Wimbledon), Cooking and Malayalam Cinema.
