Nikhil is an accomplished fine music director who is committed in bringing a sense of craftsmanship and artistry to any music project he handles. Since his birth in Kerala,India to time spent currently in New Zealand, he has made a point to strive for his goals which includes bringing music to a complete new level of composition.
As for now he is taking small music notes to make the grand symphony of his dreams to a reality. Nikhil attended MGM RPS School, where he was active in Music Inter School Youth Festivals and won many prizes too. Nikhil excelled in playing the Indian Percussion Instrument “Tabla”. He immediately entered Karunya University seeking a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Media Technology. Nikhil’s specialty of playing the Tabla and piano took off has he explored all the aspects of music- from performance to composition, which made him take his first step into the music world with the composition of a Hindi song “Jab Sur” for a nationally known Album “Pehla Sur” which bagged him the “Best Song of the Year 2009” and “Best Voted Song " awards by Hindi Yugm Assosciation. It was through this experience that he developed his musical tastes and interests. After graduation along with a dream of pursuing studies aboard, Nikhil began to showcase his talent in various venues, making sure that his name and music were heard by as many as possible. He was quickly noted for his unique style and was approached to work along with Director Mr. Srinath for a commercial Indian movie “Second Show” which successfully made him secure a Complimentary Award for “100 Days Run” in Music Direction for the movie.By the grace of God, he got into Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) University in New Zealand from were along with his studies he is currently working on his music and updating himself with latest trends in Audio and moving forward to excellence in both academics as well as music.
