Nikhil Sreenivasamurthy

I am a backend software engineer currently working at Microsoft. My interests range from technology to photography. I am also interested in fitness, programming, and hiking.

I believe the tech community has given me a lot and has helped me reach where I am today in my career. Mentoring early-career engineers and students is one of my ways of giving back to the community. I have volunteered as a mentor during the fourth edition of Learn IT, Girl, an initiative to encourage the presence of women in technology, and as a reviewer of student applications for the Grace Hopper Celebration 2020. I have mentored several new team members, both early career and interns at both PayPal and Amazon to ease their onboarding experience and also assisted in their day to day tasks and issues that arise during on-call.
