Born in India with a compass in her mouth, Niki had traveled the world with her parents before age 16. She migrated alone to the United States at the age of 21. Following a 2 year stint on Wall Street, she got her MBA at Pepperdine University after which she began her fundraising career in Thousand Oaks, CA. Since 2001, she has helped raise over $13M for nonprofits ranging from history and the arts to human services and nonprofit business think tanks. A self-proclaimed recovering Type-A, Niki discovered firsthand the importance of putting the oxygen mask on herself first so that she could better serve the people she loves, the community she supports and the world she seeks to change. Now, it is her deep abiding passion to teach others to do the same. She has coached thousands of people through their own health transformation, empowering them to be their own health advocates. Her multi-pronged coaching approach includes mindfulness, meditation, movement and nutrition. She lives in Southern California with her husband Jason, a scientist and their two kids. She loves to travel, blog, run, hike, do yoga, meditate, journal and spend time watching cooking shows and American Ninja Warrior with her family. A book nerd, she can be found with headphones in her ears while cooking, driving or even vacuuming listening to books on Audible. Currently she is reading 'Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself' by Dr. Joe Dispenza and is also on book 6 of the Outlander series.
