Niki Messmore

Second year graduate student in the Higher Education & Student Affairs (HESA) masters program at Indiana Universiy. Currently working for Residence Life as the graduate assistant in the Community Leadership & Development Center (CLDC).

Graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Political Science in 2007 and worked for five years in nonprofit administration. Previous positions include: afterschool program mangement and fundraising at Adelante, The Latino Resource Center; regional coordinator for the Center for Nonprofit Resources, community organizer at D.A.R.T., and director of BG Teen Central at Bowling Green State University.

Higher education interests include: social justice, service-learning, student engagement, first generation students, social media, philanthropy and fundraising, undocumented immigrant students, and public policy.
