I am a Christian first, a wife & mother second. I am freelance writer & blog as a hobby. I have a few pieces of paper from a few colleges that they call degrees. My profession for years was a nurse but I have always been a writer. I now am a fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom to eight year old Dannica & two year old Daylen. I am a human mom to my furbabies Shug, 10, a vicious miniature dachshund & Susie, 3, a lovable American Boxer who suffers with anxiety & ADHD .

I home school my children & love it. I even write their curriculum & my own lesson plans. My guilty pleasure is Reality TV. I just can never get enough. I am a history buff with a thirst for knowledge. I read & collect books way too much. If there is such a thing.

I love anything vintage, makeup, some fashion, hunting, being outdoors in warm weather, the beach, swimming, designer purses & bags, tanning, Alabama football, candles (wax blocks), the fall, Halloween, & although I live in the light I am fascinated by the dark side. The dark side has a limit & I am in no way fascinated by dark side that opens windows & doorways into the devil's workshop or evil.

I dislike a lot of things. I hate some things too, but I save that word for things I have a strong repugnance for. For example, I hate cancer. I dislike the winter, bitter cold hurts in my bones. I am not a fan of stubborn ignorance with an unwillingness to acknowledge facts or truth, example, extreme liberals. Adding to the list of dislikes: lying, disrespecting me or my family, bullies, body shaming, vague passive aggressive attention seeking statements, spam, tardiness, laziness, entitlement, the inability to own one's actions, deflecting, placing blame on others, clutter, etc. etc.
