Nikita Jewitt

I am a 26 year old young professional working as a technical underwriter for an insurance company based in the seaside town of Folkestone. I fell into financial services after accepting a position in insurance sales, found my niche and haven't looked back since. I stand by an ethos of "nothing is too much trouble" which not only applies to my work but my hobbies also.

I'm passionate about baking and cooking. I love spending my weekends shopping for ingredients, finding new recipes and experimenting in my kitchen (usually turning up for work on a Monday morning with some delicious goodies to share around the office). I also feel supporting locally sourced produce from local firms is very important.

I am also an avid gamer and proudly wear the title of being a geek. Some people may see this as a sign of immaturity however I would beg to differ. Recent studies show those who regularly participate in playing computer games have better problem solving and cognitive skills along with improved multi-tasking and decision making.

I also enjoy reading, trips to the theatre and playing the flute (much to the despair of my cats!).
