The incessant need to learn and to follow through the right to be better informed kept me sane enough to survive journalism school.

And with just a little more as a news reporter covering the country's education sector, various local government agencies, and the Office of the Philippine President among others.

A few years later, I still live and breathe the same old habit of stalking local, reputable news organizations and international wire agencies on a daily basis.

This, despite being a former associate producer for a multimedia production company. No shift in my preferred lunch menu (from press conferences and advisories to client meetings and project briefings) managed to change that, apparently.

Journalism kicks aside, I do harbor a few other interests.

As a graduate student, I try to keep up with lessons and readings on issues beyond borders, international law, foreign policies, and diplomatic relations among others; would love to get a crash course on criminal psychology; speaking and writing my way past Nihongo and Spanish; and crossing a few remaining destinations off my local travel list.

Cheese cakes, English Breakfast, and coffee are my version of Food for and Nectar of the Gods; practice product and landscape shoots every now and then; can't cheer for any sports team because I don't know which and any enough to become a fan of (I'm open to suggestions); always game for Mexican food; escalators scare me; and I absolutely do not like ketchup.
