I'm the co-founder of littleCollie.com and lead writer at AllCarsElectric.com. I'm the host of the Transport Evolved and TWiE (This Week in Energy) Podcasts, give occasional green car test-drives at Nikkidrives.tv and pop up on other shows as a guest from time to time. At school I was the kid afraid to be herself. It took me 18 years to figure out what that meant. Music was the way I coped. I became a classical oboist and even made a CD, but my heart wasn't in it. My break into journalism came via MacFormat Magazine, where I was Disc Editor. Almost made a TV show, but it was cut before we aired due to funding cuts. I'm Mom to two wonderful girls, married to my wonderful wife Kate. Live in Bristol, UK. Keen to tell LGBT kids that it gets better. (Honestly) Be yourself, not what others expect you to be. It's so much easier My ideal job? Something with the discovery channel or fast electric cars. But that just hasn't happened (Yet)
