I’m an inspirational speaker and best-selling author on child and parent development issues. I am passionate about relationships, play and connection. My clients and the media refer to me as a creative parenting expert because I help parents and educators find creative ways of connecting with today’s children in a fast-changing world. I am a trend watcher and am known for my insights and ability to demystify complex, technical concepts and ideas.

I am skilled at packaging information into high impact and memorable soundbites. I have published two best-selling books, Future-proof Your Child (Penguin, 2009) and Easy Answers to Awkward Questions (Metz, 2009), and developed seven educational games for brands such as Barney and Barbie. I am a regular guest on radio and TV and am often quoted in the media. I write a weekly column called Parenting Matters which is used in many school newsletters around the country.

I am a wife and a mother to two boys. I live in Johannesburg, South Africa.
