Born in eastern Siberia and introduced to the guitar at the age of nine I developed my own project in the early 1990's using the contemporary jazz language influenced by Django Reinhardt and Brazilian Jazz Music. Credits include both film and television soundtracks in Russian, Europe and the United States. In Europe I have performed at The 30th International Jazz Festival of Finland; The Dresden Jazz Festival in Germany and The St. Petersberg Jazz Festival in Russia. In the United States appearing at The Chicago Jazz Convention, Chet Atkins Musician Days in Nashville, Tennessee; Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina.
With my musical background and variety of musical styles, I am in high demand for corporate events, weddings, receptions, local hotels, convention centers and private lessons. I can be found throughout Charleston and the surrounding areas performing spanish/classical, brazilian guitar repertoire and jazz standards. I'm a faculty member of Charleston Academy of Music teaching jazz and classical guitar. I accept private students of all levels as well.
