Nikos Magouliotis

Athens, Greece

Nikos Magouliotis studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens and The Oslo School of Architecture and Design. He is currently attending the Inter-Departmental Postgraduate Programme: Architectural Design - Space - Culture at NTUA.

He has worked for Point Supreme Architects and has also been as a Stage Designer for a series of theatre shows. He is interested in architectural theory and history and is currently working on the publication of some articles in magazines, both in Greece and abroad, as well as an internet archive of Contemporary Vernacular Greek Architecture.

Currently located in Athens, he is interested in the local history and adventure of various international architectural movements. He sees Athens as an excellent condensator of a wide range of architectural styles and eras, constantly ballancing between modern and vernacular, international and local. He is working with Big Olive as an architecture consultant, trying to investigate and highlight such charming controversies.
