Nikuv was founded in 1994 by Emmanuel Antebi, who serves as CEO. Nikuv is staffed with employees who possess decades of experience in designing advanced technological solutions for information database users around the world. Its main focus is on large scale safety and security projects, and the development and integration of large information technology systems, especially for civil registration, and secure identification systems.

Nikuv functions as a full-service consultant, designing and implementing the customer’s advanced technology package, beginning with a complete audit and assessment of the situation, followed by the design of technology systems—using the best tools and products, implementation, and training. Training is a key component to the success of Nikuv’s database technology systems. All users of the systems are fully trained in all aspects of the database, from local government clerks to high-level central managers.

Utilizing advanced technological software and database systems, Nikuv has designed tailor-made solutions for governments that enable them to centralize citizen identification data and provide high-tech ID cards without delay. A single employee sitting at a local registration offices, equipped with special digital equipment, can collect all the relevant resident data, i.e., personal information, fingerprints, and photo, all of which is digitized. Input into the central database allows for a tamper-proof ID card to be issued on the spot. In very rural locations, mobile equipment is available. The ID card is constructed from the most tamper-proof elements, such as watermark, hologram, digitized photo, fingerprint, Dynamically Shifting Ink, 2D barcode, MRZ Code - all of which meet international standards for the highest level of security and a document that cannot be forged.
