Niles Goodsite

Stage Manager and Assistant Director Niles Goodsite has made a name for himself in the television and film industry via his work on numerous film and TV projects over the last three decades. As a stage manager throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he has been involved in a range of television series and specials including Pavarotti Plus!, a remake of the game show To Tell the Truth, and 11 episodes of Married...With Children. In this capacity, Niles Goodsite performed such duties as oversight of various behind-the-scenes crews and creative issues, responsibilities that call for both technical and artistic expertise. Niles Goodsite has brought this unique skill set to his career in assistant directing, which dates back to his stint with TV series 227 as an Associate Director. In 2000, he assumed the role of First Assistant Director, a position of significant administrative power and responsibility, with a short movie called Blood on the Backlot. Niles Goodsite also served as Second Second Assistant Director on The Others, a TV series that was nominated for a Primetime Emmy and an International Horror Guild Award, among others. A former member of the United States Tennis Association, Niles Goodsite still enjoys the sport, and plays four times a week with friends. A lover of the outdoors, he often goes to the beach and hikes in the Santa Monica mountains. Niles Goodsite has also had the opportunity to travel throughout England, during which time he attended several theatrical productions and visited such places as Scotland and Stonehenge.
