I'm from Orange County, California, with a degree and background in journalism, editing and visual information design. I moved to Japan in 1994, and live in Kyoto, the ancient capital and cultural heart of Japan. My passion is telling video stories about the fascinating people, places, traditions and events in Kyoto. I'm married and we have a son who is 10. I enjoy photography, hiking and cycling.
