Nima Sherpa Green

Hello, I'm Nima Sherpa Green, an Editorial Leader and Content Strategist.

With over 15 years of experience in journalism and media, I lead the EMEA Editorial content teams at The Channel Company as EMEA Editorial Director. As a member of the SLT, I'm proud to be a people leader and driver of the company's strategic growth plans. Following a global career in Australia, South America, the US and UK, I have honed my expertise in content strategy and broadcast journalism.

At the core of my professional ethos is a commitment to media innovation and storytelling excellence, underpinned by my experience in both Editorial newsrooms and commercial senior leadership positions. I am inspired by the mission to inform and engage global audiences, and my strategic approach at UNLEASH ensures that our content resonates with diverse communities, aligning with the company's values and cultural vision.

My editorial and radio skills have been cultivated as UK and Europe Editor at CRN; the Commissioning Editor at The African Business Magazine; producing at the World Service London Bureau; reporting at Vice Magazine; and the Herald Sun, Australia. I have an MA in Journalism from Monash University, Melbourne, and am NCTJ shorthand accredited and a member of the NUJ.

I'm half British/half Sherpa, and was born in Kathmandu, Nepal. I have lived and worked in the UK, Uganda, South Africa and Australia.
