Hello Hello,

The age old traditional Introductory paragraph.

With a bachelors degree in commerce and a Masters degree in Social Work specializing in Human Resources , from Stella Maris and Loyola respectively, I started off my career working as the Store manager at Palam silks, in Chennai for a year. Later, the curiosity to explore the field of Human resources, made me take up an exciting sounding job as Talent partner at Cognizant Technology Solutions. which after a very brief few months, I realized was not my cup of chai and called it quits after one and a half year. After all, a relationship with computers is not a relationship worth sticking to. It took me half a dozen months of travel, chilling and attending weddings to figure, that my interest lay in fashion/lifestyle retail and started looking out for job in the field. But like many, since I did not a have a degree in Fashion or Retail I could not get a job of my liking. Hence volunteered at Auroville.com, the online shopping portal of Auroville. I had a brilliant learning experience and came across some amazingly inspiring humans. Now , I'm all the more in love with the field and looking for a full-time job.

So, here I am , hoping to bag this amazing job that you guys are hiring for.

I love people. I love working with people and I love working with people as a team.

I like working in an environment where, my work is recognized and appreciated which I believe will help me stay motivated.

I love constant challenges. They keep me on my toes.

A slow paced and very serious work environment demotivates me. Makes me grumpy.

*Why do I think you should hire me*

Well, I've been a fan of Alicia Souza and its designs and ideas and have been closely following it for a while. And its very important for me to be associated with a brand I strongly believe in. I am borderline obsessive about fashion and anything lifestyle related. The passion for learning new things and the want to constantly improving myself for the good of the firm i work for and for myself , I believe will make me a good fit. Most importantly, I am fun. And I am fun to work with.
