Nimrod Barkai
Haifa, Israel
I was born in the port city of Haifa, and grew up partially in California and mostly in Zichron Ya'aqov in Israel.
I've been inspired and moved by nature, in all its forms. I appreciated it by travelling, and simply enjoying it. Since school years, I've found intellectual interest in Biology, especially in the fields of ecology, enviormental studies, and evolution. Therefore, it was natural to go on BsC in Biology on Ben Gurion University.
It was more difficult than I thought to find just the right job. With time, I understood that I have a desire to teach. I like the creativity that it takes, and the meaningfulness of it. I have joined the program "Teach for all", and now on my third year of teaching in Alliance High School.
