Nina Jean

Nina Jean, other wise known as Natasha Press was born in Richmond VA. Nina Jean spent most of her years growing up in Virginia’s Hampton Roads area. Being raised in a family of singers, musicians and DJs, her love for music was cultivated. Influenced by artists ranging from Miles Davis to Aerosmith, she has learned to incorporate all of the elements of music into her ministry. Her love of Hip-Hop... also came at an early age. As a young lady her father would have her reciting verses by Curtis Blow, the Sugar Hill Gang, and many others. Though Nina Jean has been singing since childhood, she didn’t start writing, rhyming, or recording until her move to Jersey. In October of '96, she gave her life and love for music to Christ. Nina Jean’s passion for God’s Word and musical gift has now incorporated into a total ministry package, flowing in song and the preached and taught Word of God. She has performed on stages with such artists as Lisa McClendon, Da TRUTH, Cross Movement, Canton Jones, and Corey Red & Precise, and has sung before national and international audiences. Nina Jean is poised as the next generation of ministers to lead youth and young adults to a grater level in Christ. Fusing the elements of Hip-Hop, Rhythm and Praise, and Praise and Worship, she prays that by means of her music, listeners receive healing, restoration, and redemption through relationship with Jesus Christ.
