Nina Segovia Thurmes

Born in El Salvador, Central America, Nina came to the Los Angeles as teenager. She attended Pepperdine University and lived all over Southern California until she met the love of her life, Gary Thurmes. She moved to Arizona in 1992 and has lived happily in Scottsdale with her husband. Her career has been in the marketing arena with positions for companies such as AT&T; and Coca-Cola. She also owned her own company for over 4 yrs. Nina shares a passion of food, cooking, wine with her husband, so that leads to entertaining friends at their home often. She also enjoys golf and live jazz (particularly Latin) music. She is committed to community service and serves on the board of Friendly House, a 90+ year social service non-profit agency in Phoenix. She also serves on the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce's Hispanic Business Leadership Council (HBLC) to support small businesses. She is a super "tia" (auntie) to four nieces, one nephew and one grandniece born in July, Olivia Lenore. She surrounds herself with amazing friends and visits family as often as possible.
