Niki Dela Cruz

Niki loves the cliche cafe setting as a venue for her writing, but always ends up writing in the confines of her home, hidden under blanket, nursed by a hot mug of cocoa.

She is a Literature major who is still scrambling to expand her library of knowledge, wanting to save shelves of books from gathering dust.

Involved in the children's ministry of her church, Niki has always had an affinity towards teaching kids, after experiencing the same from her own teachers at church. She's fumbling with the beatbox/cajon - training for the worship band, and she misses dancing and leading worship for kids' church. She does sing in the shower though, without fail.

Niki is an advocate of To Write Love on Her Arms, although not officially affiliated with them in any way. The cause has found a special place in her heart, and she would love to do contribute with anything to keep these troubled, depressed kids alive.

She runs a WordPress blog, where poetry, essays, tributes and word vomit all go together cohesively. She's also on Twitter, because she cannot stop talking.
