Neil Infield
Librarian/business advisor in Eastbourne, United Kingdom
I am a manager in the Business & IP Centre at The British Library in London. I write a business related blog at www.inoutfield.com.
Until 2005 I managed the Business Information Service at Hermes Pensions Management in the City of London. During my time at Hermes I created the company website, intranet and staff newsletter amongst other innovations.
In the little spare time that my daily Eastbourne commute allows, I enjoy the odd game of tennis, a bit of gardening and skiing when there is snow in the Alps. On a rare sunny day I wheel out my classic Kawasaki KR1-S motorbike and go for a ride.
I have been active in SLA Europe for nearly 20 years including President in 2004, and in 2006 I was made a fellow of the association. In 2012 was invited to join the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce).
