Niousha Roshani

Niousha Roshani works at the intersection of civic empowerment, youth, digital rights, entrepreneurship, violence and inequalities.
She is the co-founder of Global Black Youth, convening the world’s most innovative, disruptive and entrepreneurial young black leaders and supporting them in generating knowledge and solutions that transform their ability to impact the world.
She worked on digital entrepreneurship initiatives with young people and their engagement with cyber platforms in collaboration with Google, Microsoft and Samsung (LAC and MENA), on best practices for journalists to report on young women in digital media with TR Foundation (Asia); and addressing misinformation online with journalists (Europe, Africa and LAC). She was a Technology and Human Rights Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, an IDB-ALARI Postdoctoral Fellow on Race and Public Policy in Latin America at the Afro-Latin American Research Institute and a research fellow at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University.
She served as the Executive Director of the Nukanti Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging, educating, and empowering youth in LAC, Africa and Europe.
