Nira Dale has served students & teachers over the past decade as a passionate high school ELA/Honors English teacher, District English Language Arts Specialist, and as the Director of Instruction & Digital Media for Florence City Schools Superintendent's Curriculum & Instruction Leadership Team. Nira has recently relocated to her home region of South Alabama where she serves as the Curriculum Leader at Orange Beach Middle/ High School in Orange Beach Alabama.

Nira was chosen from among thousands of educator-hopefuls around the world by AppleEDU to join the 2015 Class of Apple Distinguished Educators in recognition of her dedication & commitment to fully equip her students with essential 21st Century future-ready skills. Nira was thereby invited to join the elite international community of Apple Distinguished Educators (ADE) at the ADE Apple Institute, North Americas (Miami, FL).

The following year, Nira was also invited to ISTE as she was named by PBS Learning Media as the Lead PBS Digital Innovator for Alabama.

As an influential Edu-Writer, Nira introspectively and transparently uses her own classroom experiences alongside current research on educational trends, Ed-Leadership, professional growth & development to engage a global network of learners and leaders in education. Her work has been featured on online platforms such asTED-Ed, Edutopia, EdSurge (Bill & Melinda Gates, 50-States-Project), School Library Journal, and TeachThought. —Most recently, in conjunction with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) for "Personalized Learning," EdSurge reached out to Nira for assistance in coordinating the "EdTech Leaders Circle" for Alabama, which involved bringing together a sample-group of the most driven, passionate, and diverse educators from around the state to represent what "Personalized Learning Means to Educators in Alabama." Edsurge expressed (at the time) that the Alabama CZI event was the "best-attended over any other state!"

Nira Dale has presented and facilitated a variety of professional sessions, workshops & hosted webinars on pedagogy and EdTech through local and international platforms. She is a learner & Thought-Leader.
