Niraj Goel is an entrepreneur and philanthropist who has revolutionized revenue-making in social media. He takes pleasure in sharing the things that he learns through his philanthropic activities.

Born in the small city of Nabha, in the princely state Punjab, India, he spent his formative years studying at the renowned boarding school, Bishop Cotton School in Shimla, India. He proudly wears the badge of being a “Cottonian”, alongside other notable alumni such as Lord Mountbatten (the First Viceroy of India) as well as Ratan Tata (Chairman of Tata Group).

His entrepreneurial streak started with the launch of his first venture in 1988 while he was still in college. He spent his time and energies developing financial technologies as well as investing his hard-earned money into Innovation of Intellectual Properties. He graduated from Punjab University Chandigarh, India and after college pursued an MBA in Consumer Behavior and Marketing.

His hard work has led him to achieve awards such as the Singapore SME 500, “Sales Turnover Growth Excellence Award” in 2009. He has also been nominated for the Talent Unleashed Awards 2014.

With around 50 Innovations in Financial technology and Insurance sectors under his belt, such as Liquidity in Virtualization, Niraj Goel wanted to expand his horizons by giving back to the community. He has set-up three trusts in his family’s name that give back to the under-privileged and needy.

A global citizen with houses and residences in various countries, he indulges himself with the finer things in life. He works on average a 130 hours a week, but that does not stop him from owning and driving his own fleet of Rolls-Royce cars. A devout vegetarian, he sleeps only an hour a day and practices meditation daily.

He is a firm believer of Destiny, Karma and Nirvana.
