Hi, I’m Niranjalee Rajaratne (You can call me Nira). I had the opportunity to start my QA career at a leading innovative trading technology business where systems are used by stock exchanges around the world. I gained further experience in both QA leadership and Project Management in one of the major ICT companies where products are deployed in some of the largest financial brokerages across the Middle East and in South Asia. Later my experience expanded in business standards, publishing and e-commerce platforms for the national standards body of the United Kingdom. I am currently the Head of QA at a technology company in London. I am passionate about QA, and is a quality evangelist spending large parts of my career focusing on testing and quality assurance to ensure its seen as everyone’s responsibility. I am keen in establishing QA processes and building a culture of quality. I value continuous development and believe; to be successful, challenges need to be taken that pushes one’s limits. I have over a decade of QA and Testing experience and hold an MBA from the university of Sunderland, U.K.

I am interested in working on people's perceptions. Every individual is unique and one should take time to understand an individual's perception to learn about them and about yourself.

I am a fan of photography, travel, music and movies. I love my family, my job, my friends, coffee and chocolates. I like watching cricket (that is one day internationals only. I find Test matches to be too long and lose interest).
