Nir Ronen

Nir Ronen is an experienced entrepreneur in finance and technology. He has extensive management experience in ultra low latency and automated trading. He is the Managing Member of qSpark Capital, a quantitative trading fund management company.

Nir graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Computer Science from the Open University of Israel and earned an MBA in International Business from the European University in Brussels. Since then, he has accumulated twenty years of executive experience, starting with his role as Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of ClockWise Technologies in 1997. Since then, he has developed a business acumen spanning high-level strategizing, management, small business development and more.

Independent of his professional work, Nir Ronen enjoys traveling on a regular basis. He frequently returns to his country of birth, Israel. He has also traveled through various parts of Asia. While he lives and works in the St. Thomas, he has traveled throughout the United States with his wife and two kids, vacationing in places such as New Mexico and New Orleans. For Nir, traveling is about more than just seeing new things- it should be an immersive cultural experience. So to that end, Nir has sampled various cuisines and gone on many adventures, from swamp tours to paddle boarding.

Nir Ronen lives with his family in the USVI and spends his spare time enjoying recreational sports or playing chess.
