Mr Nisar Ahmed Rana has done his graduation from HITEC University Taxila in Electrical Engineering. He has done his postgraduation studies at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, where his area of research and study includes digital signal and image processing, computer vision, advanced operating systems and control systems.

While in HITEC University he has participated in numerous competitions and obtained distinction in National Design Build and Fly Competition at GIK Institute, National Engineering Robotics Competition at EME College, and Project Expo 2010 at HITEC University, photography competition at the same University and at National Council of Arts. He has also been awarded Best Paper Presentation award at All Pakistan Technical Paper Competition at CIIT Lahore. He was elected as President of Healthcare and Environmental Society in 2008 to 2010. During this period he has arranged various lectures, workshops and events like tree plantation, hiking, marathon, earth day celebration and photography competition. He was elected as President of Scientific Society in the year 2010-2011. He arranged lectures, workshops and competitions such as Science Quiz, Project Expo and Open House.
