I am a Computer Engineer specializing in Computer Architectures. As a technology and electronics hobby enthusiast, I graduated in Electronics engineering from University of Mumbai in 2011 and did my post-graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2013. As a graduate student, I worked on wireless Network-on-Chip architectures, FPGA design and High performance computing clusters. With a strong background in electronics design and automation, I started working as a quality engineer at The MathWorks Inc., Boston, in 2013 as a part of the Hardware/Software Co-design area dealing with re-configurable single chip Zynq SoC.
I have a strong background in working on multi-disciplinary projects during my academic and professional life. These projects range from Robotics, Image Processing, FPGA design to Bitcoins and Crypto-currencies and computational investing. I am currently working as a Computer Technology Consultant in a Pathology Laboratory in Mumbai. My work revolves around designing and developing a database system for laboratory order management and subsequent web integration for customer use.
In my free time, I have a multitude of hobbies with reading and creative electronics projects topping the list. Being an avid reader, I have a collection of books in various genres in English as well as my native language, Marathi. I also own a blog where I post my hobby projects, Do-It-Yourself projects and other engineering anecdotes. I have also recently ventured into the bitcoins investment and trading domain, having worked on a freelance project for trading algorithms.
