I am a first grade teacher at Saxe Gotha Elementary School in Lexington School District One. My role is to teach students to excel in academics and to become great leaders. This is my ninth year teaching at Saxe Gotha, but it will be my seventeenth year teaching first grade. I taught fifth grade for three years. Even though I loved teaching fifth grade, I realixed my heart was with younger grades. I consider each day a day full of wonder and excitement as I share my time with my students.
