Based in Wicklow, Ireland, Nitetales is the artist moniker of Mel Donnellan, a dynamic force in the electronic music scene. In a relatively short time, Nitetales has built a name synonymous with deep, melodic sounds and high-energy performances.
From headlining top-tier club nights in Dublin to booking slots on the White Isle, Nitetales has left his mark on stages across Europe and beyond. His journey has included a five-year residency at Dublin's iconic Pygmalion, where his sets became the soundtrack for some of the city's most discerning clubbers.

Residency at Opium:
The pre-cursor to Index, Dublin’s superclub, Nitetales has held a residency Nitetales Plus One in one of Ireland's most respected venues, solidifying his local and international reputation.
He has since been back at Index for guest appearances with artists such as Dixon and Cristoph.
Radio Presence:
In 2025, Nitetales launched a fortnightly show on RTE Pulse, Ireland's premier electronic music station. Titled Deep Discoteca, the show features avantgarde house and techno, with influences of Italo and breakbeat.
