I work for Silicon Valley startup, Lilee Systems, in their Taipei, Taiwan office.

I have lived, studied, and worked in China and Taiwan off and on for several years beginning in 1996. I received an MA in China Studies from University of Washington’s Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies and a BA with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy from Creighton University.

In previous lives, I was Director of Payroll and HR Services in a non-tech startup, worked in a NYC art gallery specializing in contemporary Chinese art, was a Senior Technical/Marketing Writer in an industrial PC company, and taught English among other things. Ten years ago I started the first 24/7 webcast of Chinese rock music on a site I created dedicated to that subject.
