Njeri Nyakairu, a graduate of Cape Town’s BHC School of Design where she received an All Around Passion in Design award, is a young innovative interior designer that hails from Kenya and employs multicultural influences in her work.

Njeri Nyakairu’s chic, contemporary style landed her a job soon after her graduation at one of Kenya’s top architectural firms, creating designs for Jubilee Insurance, Toyota Kenya, British American Tobacco, Standard Chartered, Villa Rosa Kempinski, Intercontinental and Aga Khan University Hospital-Heart & Cancer Centre which was unveiled by then President Mwai Kibaki in 2011.

Her interiors have a seamless blend of luxury, sophistication and function that has secured her several multinational projects in Kenya and South Africa where she had the opportunity to design for multicultural clients. While living in Cape Town, she did designs for Ikhaya Hotel, Velocity Gym, Beckman Coulter and Axis House.

Njeri takes time to broaden her artistry and creativity by attending prestigious Design Weeks with her most memorable trip being to Shanghai Design Week.

Due to her international exposure, her styles and influences gives her a classical, contemporary, minimalist touch thus generating top-notch interior design spaces for her clients.

Her use of texture, colour, furnishings, and natural light has resulted in otherwise dull spaces being transformed into functional and international masterpieces. With her worldwide contacts she is capable of bringing her clients high-end global furniture to meet high international standards.

Njeri takes pride in developing creative, innovative spaces for her clients that are chic, functional and one of a kind.
