I am Kenyan born. I migrated to the US over 20 years ago to further my education. I am a mother of 3 and grand-mother of 2. Sometimes life gets in the way of living and to get more we have to become more! So with that in mind, I went on a mission to discover what my purpose was and with that I founded

Upendo Womens Foundation. I have decades of experience in nonprofit organizational leadership, with a strong background in international relations and sustainable community development as well as women empowerment. I am well known for my ability to build teams and empower collaborations. I am passionate about sustainable global empowerment and grateful to be part of such a direct and effective key to change.

Upendo Women’s Foundation (UFW) was founded in April 2013, due to my own personal journey and experience of what I had to go through while growing up. I feel privileged to serve with the amazing supporters of Upendo Women’s Foundation.
