Nasihah Kathrada

My name is Nasihah, an aspiring educator currently pursuing my Bachelor of Education at the University of Johannesburg. I harbor a passion for technology, design, and programming, with a keen interest in integrating technology into education to better prepare my students for the Fourth Industrial Revolution . I am dedicated to developing my skills and knowledge in these fields, aspiring to make a meaningful impact in both the educational and technological realms. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating curiosity, and fostering learners who are critical thinkers. I believe in a student-centered approach that values diversity and can adapt to individual needs by creating collaboration between me as a teacher, my students and the curriculum. By creating inclusive, safe learning environments and integrating diverse teaching strategies, I aim to empower students to thrive academically and contribute positively to society.
