Navid Khorassani

I'm a Composer, who was born in 1990 in Tehran. I started playing keyboard at the age of 4, without any previous training, and found it to be so fun that I wanted to spend all my time playing music. From the age of 13 I started taking lessons in piano with Mehran Tebyani and became acquainted with classical music. Since then, I have been studying music mostly on my own, and composed my first piece at the age of 17. A few years later, I went to Pars Music Institute and finished courses in Harmony and Counterpoint's with Alireza Mashayekhi, an internationally-renowned Iranian composer and conductor. I took some composition lessons with Mazyar Younesi and now i'm studying. Additionally, I have some experience in media and have scored several soundtracks for films and animations.
To me, music and composing are not just a hobby. They make me thinking and take me much closer to my essence. I create worlds by music and live in and through them.
