Nina McCarthy

Hey, I’m Nina. I’m a student living on campus at Plymouth State University for Nursing. I love music, movies, and dogs.

☯ My favorite type of music is classic rock, because I grew up listening to 100.7 WZLX. So yes, I love ACDC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, and many other legendary musicians/bands. I also had my boy-band phase loving One Direction. I also liked, and still do enjoy, 5 Seconds of Summer. I do like music from now, but some of it is not catchy at all.

☯ I have too many favorite movies, including Hocus Pocus (Halloween), Year Without a Santa Claus (Christmas), The Goonies, Little Monsters, and Tomorrowland.

☯ I have never had any pets, but my favorite animal are dogs. My cousins have dogs so I have always been around them. My favorite breeds are Huskies, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, and Labradors. I am allergic to cats. Whenever I'm around them my eyes get itchy and watery and my nose constantly runs. I also sometimes break out in hives if they touch me.

☯ My all time favorite sport is hockey. I've been skating since I was 2 years old. My whole family loves the sport as well, and it is something we can all bond over.

☯ I also love to sing, however I am very shy when it comes to singing in front of other people. My dad always wanted me to go on America's Got Talent, but I am way too shy to do so. Whenever I sing in front of people, my voice gets really shaky.
