With this setup and the few meals we ate out, we survivedthe 3-month ordeal. Caveat - I'm not sure the buying site is as specific as itshould be regarding the cookware that will work with an induction cooktop.There are "adapters", but they don't work very well.

This thing rocks! I bought it for my office so I could heatwater for a coffee press. Works like a champ and takes up very little space.
Limited to induction only cookware. Operates great but isvery fragile, looks like a computer underneath with plastic vents and a fan.
This is a fantastic cooktop, I love the even heating andquick response to the changes in heat and even when you stop all together, theheat stops. Like gas. The service was great as well, came on time and inperfect condition.
I have used this many times now - it's great! I will buy atleast two more - one for my boat and one for my girlfriends's house.
I have a pressure cooker that I got from Fagor and use it onthis and it works better than on the electric top. Really good fine tuningcontrol. This was a very good purchase and it came quickly and in greatcondition.
This is the most wonderful burner ever, it has a timer so I can simmer and walk away and not worry about it cause it shuts itself off and it heats up and cools down about as fast as a gas stove.
It gets hot fast, and no excess wasted heat from around the sides like original gas or electric stoves.
