About Me:

The art teacher...

I am passionate about what I do. I am not sure what I love more... creating art, learning about art or teaching art. It doesn’t really matter, because as an art teacher I am always doing all three. I am actively involved in my professional community and consider myself to be a life-long learner. My classroom is a safe place where students are encouraged to be creative, explore new ideas, take risks, embrace their mistakes and express themselves. Building self-confidence is important to me. My teaching style is based on the belief that everybody is good at something, and our student/teacher goal is to work together to discover what that something is.
