I am a very joyful person and dedicate myself to everything I do. I enjoy reading, writing and anything that has to do with music. I have always wanted to become a teacher. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Johannesburg.

As a qualified teacher, I believe in the art of explaining techniques and then seeing how the freedom of expression leads to a creative, joyful result in the learner's self-worth and exploration. I volunteer as an English tutor as part of a community engagement programme, where I teach junior primary children how to read, write and improve their language and communication skills. I am motivated by seeing those little faces light up with joy when they finally master how to read sentences and recognize words on their own. This makes me happy and very proud of their achievement. I have learned that patience and perseverance in making marks pays off in joyful outcomes.
