Hi there,

I am an artist for hire living in Durango, CO currently, but I have created artwork in Salt Lake City, San Francsico, and Portland as well. I will always travel for art! I have drawn and painted my entire life, emerging into freelance art over the past decade. I have been lucky enough to study under some amazing artists in Salt Lake City and San Francisco and I have had the pleasure of working in clients homes and businesses painting murals, teaching art to troubled teens, drawing portraits of clients loved ones, and donating my time to paint murals for charities. Besides commissioned portraits and murals, my original sculptures (work in progress) and paintings are for sale. I love to draw and paint pretty much anything, but I have to say that the human figure is my favorite, especially capturing human emotion in portraits. I enjoy using many different mediums, as long as I am creating I am happy. In the years that I have taken my art to a professional level I have had people love my work and I have had some people unable to relate to it as well, and that's okay. The criticism, even though it can be hard to hear, has shaped me as an artist. The key is to never give up and turn the negative into a lesson that helps you grow as an artist while living in the joy of all the positivity and encouragement.
