I've spent the last 6 years consulting for Fortune 100 companies and acting as a member of their brand, sustainability/CSR, HR and marketing teams.

I worked to help employees be happier and healthier and to find meaning in their work. To creatively reframe brand stories that best resonate with customers and stakeholders. To add strategic vision and structure to complex programs for cross-functional teams.

Now, I am embarking on a journey to dive more deeply into our food system. To find a way to provide equitable access to nutritious food that can sustain our communities, economies and environment. I'll start with the skills and tools that I've gathered: strategic marketing, project management, creative communications, stakeholder engagement, partnerships and distribution. And see what producers, hubs and organizations I might help.

It started on a Mendocino County farm last June. It continues now in my work for a food company in Emeryville and in the ferments bubbling in my kitchen.
