I am currently a 3rd-year accounting major in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I have found that I am passionately curious, which seems to have fueled my fire in life. My life, thus far, has been one big change, in which I had to reinvent or remarket myself many many times. I am eternally grateful for the experiences I have had in the past, because the knowledge I have gained is irreplaceable. I have tirelessly immersed myself in as many opportunities as presented to me. Whether it was my equestrian career, my volunteering experiences, cosmetology, moving from MA to VA in 10th grade, or my constant pursuit of higher education, I have found in my first two years of college that passion is what deserves your undivided attention, first and foremost. I was lucky to have found many things in which I was passionate about early on in life, and my future greatly thanks my past for that. As cliché as this may sound, I have uncovered my true passion to be independence, and finding personal happiness through being independent. I am pretty sure my behavior growing up coined the term “the terrible twos) because long before I was physically capable of doing things for myself, my mind told me I should at least want to achieve things solo. I had never appreciated this characteristic about myself until after I graduated high school and moved out from under my dad’s roof a week later. This trait, which undoubtedly drove my parents insane while trying to raise me, is what I believe to be the backbone to my continued success in life.
