I believe I was put on this earth to be a teacher.

I am a Golden Apple Scholar and a passionate, fun-loving individual who yearns to educate and inspire children.

Today, being a teacher means educating the whole child. One cannot stop teaching after the math or reading lessons are finished.

I believe it is the responsibility of the teacher to educate beyond the classroom. Life lessons should stem from the education standards we teach and uphold; academic lessons should be applicable to real life situations.

Students should not stop thinking about my class when they exit the classroom doors because my lessons will resonate throughout their daily lives. I hope that each student leaves my classroom daily with something to think about.
